Shine Bright like a Diamond
I started my Business Gia Skincare over 2 years ago... but I have been starting to re-think if all this was worth starting in the first place? Please don't get me wrong, I feel grateful that I even had the opportunity and support to start my business which has come so far to this point. You see... I've learned that regardless if you have Quality Products, Proven Ingredients and even a great Story to sell a Brand, it all comes down to one thing... Yes - You guessed it $$$$

Since I ( +Gia Marie ) started +Gia Skincare I've been pretty proud of myself... I did get the interest of QVC - which was an honor and very encouraging until I found I out I had to supply very expensive Bio-testing on my products in order to go to the next level which is part of the Legal Contract. Believe me ... you have no idea how much this costs and no guarantees that my product would hit was even more than a bit risky.

LIPSTICK
You've heard this question before...
If you had to decide which make-up product you can't live without... what would it be?
I always think of Lipstick!
Here's why: My thoughts
Lipstick always makes a statement!
Most Women speakers will always wear a darker bolder color because when you're speaking, most people will pay attention to what you have to say which gives " Lip Service " a whole new meaning!
Lipstick will protect your lips as well as make a fashion statement or give you a sense of style.
Lipstick puts a complete finishing touch to your look! That's why you always save the best for last!
Lipstick is sexy and if you add a touch Lip Gloss... it even gets hotter!
Lipstick can be matched with Nail Color & Clothes!
Lipstick can add Moisture to your Lips! You can't say that about your eyeliner! :D
In closing...
Lipstick has been the name of a movie, has been named in songs, is the ultimate cosmetic product associated with Women.
*** It has been said that when the Titanic was sinking... Most of the Women applied their Lipstick as a final farewell of Dignity and Remembrance.
So whatever your favorite shade ( Mine is Classic Red ) Here's to all Women that OWN their Look!

Beauty Begins at the Brow ~
When I first started my Career in Beauty...
I was a Hair Stylist and I would always start any haircut with the focus on the face as well as the condition, color of hair and the personal style of the client I was working on...
Some stylist's in this business have some of the biggest ego's I've ever come across and they may already have something to say about what I'm blogging about because we live in such a judgemental world now that everyone have an opinion on something { Eyebrows Raised }
The reason I would always start my attention on the FACE is because when you get a haircut/style it's for the soul purpose to draw attention to the face! Think about it?
On the other hand... where do you first look at someone?
The " Eyes" of course that's where you make a connection.
When you think of a Beautiful Portrait on a wall... you also look at the frame and that's why I look at Eyebrows as the " Frame of the Face"
Can you imagine if we didn't have eyebrows? When you think about it... eyebrows can make or break a look and/ or above all give us all the expression in our face.
When I left the Hair world, I decided that I've got to get into Make-up so bad because it was just in my blood and just as an Artist has a blank Canvas... I decided this was my next calling and left NY ~ Where can I be Glamorous? Viva Las Vegas! and... away I went :-) 20+ yrs ago LOL
I loved to create and accentuate different make-up looks but the #1 focus of inspiration when I start to work is always on the eyebrows because " Beauty begins at the Brows "

Mmmm... Red Velvet Mask
It will look and smell so good you will not only want to put it on your face, you may even want to eat it!
This is a Do- it -Yourself Facial Mask you can do at home: Red Velvet Mask
You will need a Food processor or Blender to blend all ingredients together.
Blend all the ingredients until it becomes a smooth velvety consistency.
Apply your mask from a bowl with either an applicator or facial brush making sure you avoid the eye area.
Leave on 10 minutes and simply Breathe and Relax ~
With the amazing power of antioxidants from the raspberries and the medicinal antibacterial healing qualities from the honey this is the ideal indulging mask without any calories!

First Impressions
They say you only get one chance ... Right?
I just received the second e-mail this month with my name spelled incorrectly and the first letter without a capital - like this > gina , when it should look like this > Gia - I don't know if this happens to you, but it's makes me feel as though I don't matter or you didn't take the time out to get it right!
I get solicitations all the time for events to be a part of and I give my time as well as donations towards organization's that are dear to my heart which I'm thankful to have the opportunity.
My point is this... if you want to make a great First Impression make sure that you do your homework about the person whom you would like to do business with because that will at the very least give a sense of being Genuine.
I'm not talking about a fast tweet or a facebook post because we are only human and I've done that myself especially when it comes to touch phones and my over 40 eyes!
I am a firm believer in paying close attention to detail and that is why I've learned that when you hire someone to do a job that should include dotting the i's and crossing t's if you know what I mean...

I've been in the Beauty Business for a long time... I've done Hair & Make-up on some of the most Beautiful Women!
What People have to realize is that there really is no such thing as " Perfect " So when you look at the Pictures of #Celebrities and #Models in Magazines & TV keep in mind that this is not what you really see but an illusion of what these companies portray what #Beautiful is... and you the consumer buy into this advertising!
Think about it...
Maybe she's born with it ? <=== Watch this!
